Description: Equipment and supplies used to bury carcasses resulting from the response to a Foreign Animal Disease.

ImportantFeatures:

Operating Considerations: Buried material and runoff must be tested and proven free of the Foreign Animal Disease before removal from site, and before animals can be returned to the site. Burial must be overseen by a designated environment official. Determination of disease exposure status must be overseen by animal health official.
Use must be consistent with the Foreign Animal Disease Preparedness and Response Plan (FADPReP)/National Animal Health Emergency Management System (NAHEMS).

Training Requirements: NIMS credentialed Animal Emergency Responders and determination by the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
