Description: Equipment and supplies that physically kill the Foreign Animal Disease organism in the environment.

Operating Considerations: After application, environment must be tested and proven free of the Foreign Animal Disease before it can accommodate animals again. Operations must be overseen by a designated environment official. Determination of disease exposure status must be overseen by animal health official. User must be certified in the application of the equipment.
Use must be consistent with the Foreign Animal Disease Preparedness and Response Plan (FADPReP)/National Animal Health Emergency Management System (NAHEMS).

Training Requirements: NIMS credentialed Animal Emergency Responders and determination by the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
