Description:
Treated glass, films, or laminates that can be used on vehicles or aircraft to provide laser eye protection for personnel during field operations.
ImportantFeatures:
Efficacy must be sufficient to reduce laser power to below 0.39 mW for known threat(s).
Eye protection material should be selected based upon specific potential ocular hazards by laser wavelength and power, while maximizing VLT% (visible light transmission) / PLT% (photopic luminous transmission).

Care must be taken to ensure minimum distortion and sufficient visibility for day and night operations.
