ImportantFeatures:
Detection may include (but is not limited to) sound technology, RF, radar, or a combination of technologies. Interdiction may include (but is not limited to) kinetic energy devices, GPS or RFID boundary interference, RF jamming, protocol manipulation (hacking, ghosting), lasers, EMP, or a combination of these technologies.
Effective range may vary with the size/type of the UAS vehicle.
Thorough research should be done at time of procurement, as both detection and interdiction technology are constantly improving.
Operating Considerations:
*** Use of these system is subject to multiple Federal, State, and local regulations, and those regulations are continuously evolving. Certification from Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System Training Center (NCUTC) is required for operation. Check the regulatory environment at all levels before purchase.***
Be aware that proprietary branded systems may only detect specific OEM products. Check breadth of detection capability before purchase.
Systems should have the ability to detect and interdict any and all UAS, including fixed wing, rotary wing, micro, and swarming.
