Portable or transportable magazines for short- or long-term storage and transport of explosive materials, possible IEDs, or other suspected

Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives
devices to and from incident scene. Includes any movable magazines, including those requiring crane lift/placement.
ImportantFeatures:
Explosive Magazines must have the ability to be locked and portable as well as have the capability to be secured to the transporting vehicle.
Operating Considerations:
Check ATF Publication 5400.7 and applicable State and Federal laws regarding use. Consider electric power, lighting, security systems, distances from occupied structures, and installation.
May only be purchased by an FBI-Accredited Bomb Squad. For information on establishing new bomb squad programs, agencies should contact the Special Agent Bomb Technician in the nearest FBI Office or call directly to the FBI Program Manager at the Hazardous Devices School, (256) 842-1721.
Training Requirements:
Core Training: Hazardous Devices School, Redstone Arsenal, AL
Initial Training: Extensive (>2 days)
Sustainment Training: Extensive (>2 days) with 3-yr recertification rqt
