Description:
Mobile evidence collection and storage systems, including bags, canisters, or other containers for evidence storage and preservation.
ImportantFeatures:
May include transportable or trailer-mounted systems that hold multiple containers.
Airtight or climate-controlled storage as required.
Ability for individual containers to be permanently labeled and/or sealed.
System compartment design for decontamination after use.
Operating Considerations:
Ensure that systems or individual containers are compatible with departmental evidence handling and chain of custody requirements.
Ensure capability to collect and preserve DNA and blood evidence if required for mission.
Consider power and transport requirements (e.g., power if storage device includes climate control or air filtering, tow vehicle if trailer mounted system is used).
Ability to operate system and individual containment devices while wearing mission PPE.
