Description: Devices used to continuously monitor the temperature and/or humidity of a storage area or refrigeration device to ensure that contents do not exceed storage limits.

ImportantFeatures: Available as fixed units or disposable units (for transportation). Various extra features available, such as digital displays, alarms, outputs for remote monitoring, multiple probes, etc.

Operating Considerations: Consider compatibility (fit, power requirements, etc.) with refrigeration unit or storage area of intended use. If battery powered, check type, life, and availability of batteries, and establish strict battery change schedule to prevent gaps in coverage.
