Description: Electrical equipment used prior to euthanasia to humanely stun animals impacted by a Foreign Animal Disease.

Operating Considerations: Electrical equipment cannot be used for euthanasia or depopulation of animals. Operations must be overseen by designated humane official. User must be certified in the application of the equipment.
Use must be consistent with the Foreign Animal Disease Preparedness and Response Plan (FADPReP)/National Animal Health Emergency Management System (NAHEMS).

Training Requirements: NIMS credentialed Animal Emergency Responders and determination by the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
