Description: Equipment and supply types used to provide veterinary medical, surgical, and emergency care to large animals, including farm animals, zoo animals and wildlife.

ImportantFeatures: Examples include, but are not limited to: Animal Handling and Restraint, Environmental Cleaning and Disinfection, Facility Equipment and Supplies, Office supplies, Surgical Supplies and Equipment, Veterinary Diagnostics, Veterinary Medical Supplies.

Operating Considerations: Compatible with existing standards of animal care under the Authority Having Jurisdiction, which should be researched prior to purchase of such equipment.

Training Requirements: NIMS-credentialed Veterinarian
Initial Training: Moderate (1-2 days)
Sustainment Training: Minimal (<1 day)
