Description: Equipment and supply types used to house small animals, including household pets and similarly sized animals.

ImportantFeatures: Examples include, but are not limited to: Animal Feeding and Supplies, Animal Handler Protection, Animal Handling and Restraint, Animal Husbandry, Animal Identification, Environmental Cleaning and Disinfection, Facility Equipment and Supplies.

Operating Considerations: Compatible with existing animal housing methods, which should be researched prior to purchase of such equipment. Animals may be maintained in an emergency animal shelter or other mass care setting, or in a feeding-in-place setting.

Training Requirements: NIMS-credentialed Animal Emergency Responder
Initial Training: Moderate (1-2 days)
Sustainment Training: Minimal (<1 day)
