Description: Standalone sensors/alarms for use on critical systems or infrastructure items (security systems, power supplies, etc.) to provide warning when these systems fail or are near failure.

ImportantFeatures: May be tied to supervisory monitoring system.
Remote control and monitoring available via Cloud on smart phones and tablets as well as desktop systems.

Operating Considerations: Consider compatibility/interoperability with existing systems.
If monitored remotely, these sensors should not utilize the same communications path/media or power source as the system(s) being monitored.
Communication of information may be store/forward or constant stream (via cable, internet, RF, etc.).
Consider network requirements, power requirements, and backup power requirements.
