Operating Considerations: Note: These items are not intended for use in hazmat decontamination, and may be ineffective or even counterproductive in that environment.

The science of post fire decontamination is evolving. Studies recommend the use of only alcohol free and solvent free materials. Those materials containing skin softners such as aloe or fragrances must be avoided. The single best mode of fire fighter decontamination remains soap and water.
