Description:
Absorbent wipes used for either individual or technical decontamination to removing bulk solids and liquids from human skin or surfaces prior to other means of decontamination.
ImportantFeatures:
These may include absorbent towels, micro-fiber towels, or mitts impregnated with activated charcoal and other emerging technologies that support hybrid or water-based decontamination procedures.
Operating Considerations:
For use prior to dilution or physical removal using decontamination solutions to decrease amount of substance present on PPE.
Always store according to manufacturer's recommendation. Blot materials from skin surfaces rather than wipe in order to minimize the surface area of material contact.
Consider method of disposal after use.
