Description: Encryption software for protecting stored data files or email messages.

ImportantFeatures: Some products may integrate as "plug-in" to popular email software such as Outlook or MAC Mail. These should utilize public key cryptography, requiring the establishment of public and private keys for users.
Some products provide whole-disk encryption or the setup of "secure" folders or directories.
May also be incorporated into cloud-based services.
