Description: Printer / Copier / Fax / Scanner in single device with either inkjet or laser printing capability.

ImportantFeatures: Minimum 600 DPI, high quality would be 1200 DPI or higher.
Wireless and USB network connectivity (802.x).
Direct wireless printing such as Airprint.
Smart media ports desirable
Network compatibility (wired, wireless) desirable.
Scan over network.

Operating Considerations: Ensure that a plan is in place to maintain the patch level of any onboard software or firmware. If used on a network, this device is an addressable host and a security risk if not properly managed.
Consumable supplies may be critical, particularly for ink-jet devices. Correct toner cartridges are critical for laser devices.
Consider cost of consumables. Consumables, particularly ink-jet cartridges, may have shelf-life issues (they are prone to dry out in extended storage) and may be prone to spillage.
Consider types of fax traffic (e.g., images) before deciding on print quality requirement.
Consider stand-alone potential and wireless capabilities, and integration into existing IT infrastructure. Consider cloud printing options.
Consider OS of computer used if connecting directly with unit via USB. Some non-Windows operating systems could have problems accessing the features of the All-in-One unit.
