Title: Line, Fast Rope

Description: Line used for vertical personnel insertion (fast rope) in tactical environments.

ImportantFeatures: Protective collar for attachment.
Choices include fiber types such as nylon, linen, or other synthetic fibers.

Operating Considerations: Extensive personnel training required. Requisite minimum physical training or baseline upper body and hand strength test should be completed prior to fast rope training or operation.
Choose line appropriate for operations being conducted (diameter, tensile strength, etc.)
Consider compatibility with aircraft gantry.
Length is generally between 60 and 120 feet.

Training Requirements: Specialized fast rope training.
Initial Training: Extensive (> 2 days)
Sustainment Training: Extensive (> 2 days)
