Description: Boots for use as part of diving ensemble, usually in surface supplied air operation.

ImportantFeatures: Weight of the boots will be determined by the operational water temperature. Whether cold or warm water, boots should be constructed of durable, tear-resistant materials, with a pliable, hardened sole able to take everyday punishment.

Operating Considerations: Not for contaminated water diving. See Section 01WA-05 for items used in contaminated water operations.

Training Requirements: Core Training: Public Safety Diver with nationally-recognized dive certification. NFPA 1006, Chapter 13.
Initial Training: Extensive (> 2 days)
Sustainment Training: Extensive (> 2 days)
